Inspired by Pro-Ject’s renowned Debut Carbon model, the Lunar 3 features a carbon tonearm and combines premium materials with refined craftsmanship, courtesy of Pro-Ject’s expertise. Designed for versatile use, the Lunar 3 includes a built-in phono pre-amplifier, ensuring seamless compatibility with Capella active loudspeakers. The turntable is available in sleek lacquered finishes—Black, Blue, and White high gloss—adding a touch of elegance to any setup. Leveraging Pro-Ject’s position as Europe’s top turntable manufacturer, the Lunar 3 boasts advanced engineering, including an engine with two sorbothane silentblocks and an innovative suspension system to minimize vibrations for superior performance. The Lunar 3 The turntable ensures precise rotation speeds, driven by a flat belt connected to a dense steel platter, which is mounted on a high-density fiberboard base with three damping feet for optimal stability. Ortofon 2M Red Cartridge At its heart, the Lunar 3 is equipped with the Ortofon 2M Red, a highly regarded moving magnet (MM) cartridge from Danish manufacturer Ortofon, a leader in vinyl playback for over a century. The diamond elliptical stylus tracks grooves with remarkable precision, delivering exceptional musicality from your vinyl collection. Carbon Tonearm A standout feature is the lightweight, rigid carbon tonearm, weighing just 6g, which helps reduce unwanted vibrations. The counterweight is precisely adjustable to fine-tune the tracking force, while an antiskating calibration weight ensures smooth playback by counteracting the centripetal force pulling the tonearm inward. Universal Compatibility Compatible with 33, 45, and 78 rpm records, the Lunar 3 offers convenient speed selection via a switch under the front panel. A special belt is included for 78 rpm playback.
